Yuriy Furer is a Partner and the Chief Technology Officer at Exusia. As our CTO, Yuriy founded and looks after Exusia’s global technical delivery capabilities and offerings where he owns Exusia’s internal technical talent development, training centers, partnerships and centers of excellence (CoEs). As a Senior Partner in Exusia, Yuriy is responsible for the firm’s client design, architecture and delivery interests globally where he provides stakeholder management, oversight, and quality assurance across client verticals, regions and accounts.
With almost two decades of experience, Yuriy’s extensive expertise in the technology domain, delivery management, and stakeholder relationships serve as a great foundation necessary to lead Exusia’s client project execution teams. Combined with his passion for mentorship and people development, Yuriy is able to build highly functional and motivated teams capable of undertaking the most complex of challenges facing Exusia’s clients.
Prior to Exusia, Yuriy worked for several consulting organizations, including Knightsbridge Solutions and Hewlett Packard, where he held hands-on technical roles architecting, designing, and developing enterprise platforms to solve some of the most demanding client challenges in the world. These implementations included big data solutions focused on scalable batch processing of massive data volumes as well as high-availability, low-latency real time applications.
Yuriy received his B.S. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University with a minor in Economics. Aside from being an expert in leading data integration tools, he is certified in several Database and Cloud technologies and dedicatedly keeps a very close eye on latest industry and technology trends.
Yuriy is passionate about nutrition, health, and fitness. He is an avid cyclist and finds tremendous enjoyment in long mountain rides as well as indoor training sessions during the off season. He supports organizations that advance treatments of some of medicine’s most devastating diseases. Yuriy has participated in many running races, triathlons, and other events that raise funds and build awareness for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and other non-profit organizations.
