Trevor Silver is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Exusia. Mr. Silver serves as the Chairman of Exusia’s board of directors overseeing group company operations across the United States (Exusia, Inc.), United Kingdom (Exusia Limited), South Africa (Exusia South Africa (Pty) Ltd) and India (Exusia India Private Limited). At Exusia, Mr. Silver looks after global corporate governance, strategy and investments across the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia. Mr. Silver founded Exusia in 2012 to empower clients to grow revenue while reducing operating expenditures through the innovative use of artificial intelligence, digital experience, analytics, cloud computing and data engineering.
In 2012, Mr. Silver and Exusia entered the private sector markets with cutting edge techniques and software, which helped fortune 100 clients monetize data by building billion dollar, critical, operational systems that specialized in analyzing massive amounts of information to make critical sub-second decisions. Over the next few years Exusia was recognized for being one of the fastest growing IT Services companies by publications such as Crain’s, Inc. Magazine, CIO Bulletin, CIO Look, Industry Era and the CIO Review. As CEO, Trevor has led Exusia to the prestigious Inc. 5000 recognition four times, including finishing #18 overall (#2 in IT services) in 2016.
Today, Exusia is an ISO 27001 certified global solutions and managed services provider that continues to expand it’s markets, intellectual capital and capabilities through the delivery of hundreds of projects to dozens of clients from start-ups to PE/VC backed growth companies the Fortune 100 across all industries and global regions.
Prior to founding Exusia, Mr. Silver was a Partner and served on the Board of Directors of ITI Data where he created the firm’s global delivery centers in India. At ITI Data, Mr. Silver expanded client sales and delivery by over 3500% in less than 3 years by landing ITI’s first global client, Citigroup.
Before ITI Data, Mr. Silver was a Senior Principal at Knightsbridge Solutions (acquired by HP in 2007), where he was responsible for enterprise account sales and delivery relationships within the capital markets, banking and insurance consulting businesses. Mr. Silver also provided support to Knightsbridge’s Healthcare and Pharmaceutical clients in the areas of Data Quality and Master Data Management. In this role, he managed consulting teams of 200+ global resources and delivered gross sales of $33 Million over a three-year period.
Mr. Silver founded his first company at nineteen when, after winning an algorithm design competition in Chicago, IL, the CEO and Board of Directors of NRC Realty & Capital Advisors hired him to architect its commercial real estate auction application. Thereafter, he served as the technical lead and project manager of a team of eight working on C# applications for Microsoft’s Vista Enterprise release and as a senior data management consultant at Braun Consulting (FICO).
Mr. Silver holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN where he received Microsoft’s Software Engineering MVP, an honor awarded to the top software developer in Purdue’s computer science department. At Purdue, Mr. Silver was deeply involved in graduate research in Bioinformatics where he developed his passion for the combination of data analytics, algorithms and data structure design to the human genome project in support of DNA strand analysis being done for Alzheimer’s Research. Mr. Silver has also taken post graduate studies in international business strategy and leadership at Harvard University and artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, machine learning and data science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), both in Cambridge, MA. Mr. Silver has also served as a Board Member at the Florida based institution Stetson University, where he served as an advisor on post graduate and continuing education courses in disruptive leadership, analytics and “big data”. Mr. Silver has also advised several colleges across India on their course curriculums in the areas of Computer Science, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Mr. Silver is an LP and the Operating Partner of Tortuga Growth Partners for private equity technology services investments, the Chairman at ESCF, (ES Children’s Foundation) a non-profit focused on early stage education and helping those in need across India.
Mr. Silver is also Managing Member of the Digital Transformation and Analytics (“DTA”) brand which includes the parent company DTA Capital Advisors and wholly owned subsidiaries like Exusia Property, LLC, Digitdex and DTA Solutions Private Limited. As the Managing Member of DTA Capital Advisors (www.dtacap.com), a home office, Private Equity Fund that focuses on early-stage software & services businesses, Mr. Silver aims positively disrupt the DTA ecosystem thru entrepreneurship, philanthropy and investments.
In 2024, Mr. Silver founded the Exusia & Silver children’s foundation’s (“ESCF”) with a mission centered around the betterment of society thru working with NGO’s pan India that focus on empowering those who can not help themselves, initially including early stage child development and education as well as animal opportunities and rights. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Silver actively contributes to a variety of charities that are important to him, including the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Therapy Development Institute, Alzheimer’s Research Foundation and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). Mr. Silver is also involved in scholarships, educational funding and research for the computer science department at Purdue University with a focus on data science.
