Gaurav Chaudhary is a Senior Director at Exusia India Private Limited. He is leading Exusia’s Data Governance & Analytics Practice and is responsible for overseeing data governance projects for leading Banking and Financial Institutions across the globe. He has been instrumental in setting up – competence creation and ramp-up of Exusia’s data governance team comprising of bright data analysts and experts.

Gaurav has a rich experience of 17 years~ in financial sector ranging from Mortgage, Insurance, and Capital Markets across USA, Canada, UK and South Africa. He has extended his expertise to his team to build state of art data governance solutions which includes Collibra, ASG, Integration of Data Governance systems with Technical Metadata Scanning tools, have also build automations to scan datasets to identify duplicate feeds to reduce cost by leveraging data lakes to house rationalized data feeds for reducing cost of datasets for downstream systems.

Prior to joining Exusia, he was leading a large-scale Migration project for HSBC Software as the Lead Business Analyst. He was responsible to work extensively on Client Data Technology and interact with Client for due diligence, Client Data Management, Client Data Services and Chief Data Office. His primary focus was to ingest Client Data from different golden sources into IBM MDM, define interface specifications, profile client data to define baseline metrics, and specify client matching rules, specify exception rules and reprocessing rules.

Gaurav has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has a post graduate degree in Master’s in business administration in IT Business Management from Symbiosis International University. He is a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).

In his personal time, he loves to spend it with his family and is a proud doting dad to his 11-year-old twins.
