Amy Silver
Chief Financial Officer

Amy Silver is a Founding Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Exusia, Inc, and a member of the Board of Directors of Exusia’s entities in the U.S., India, Brazil, South Africa and Canada. Amy is responsible for the firm’s global finance, operations, legal, compliance, and human resources functions as well as its corporate strategy. As a Founding Partner, Amy leveraged her significant international and entrepreneurial experience to shape Exusia’s strategy, establish its infrastructure, and create each of the verticals for which she is responsible. 

Through Amy’s leadership, Exusia has been built “right from the start”, with no outside capital, strict adherence to its core values, and an infrastructure that fuels sustainable growth.  At Exusia, Amy is responsible for unifying all aspects of the business, including designing and implementing systems to attract and retain top tier talent, creating a globally unified and tax efficient corporate structure that can adjust quickly to client demands, and enabling a seamless global staffing model that benefits employees and Exusia’s clients. 

Prior to Exusia, Amy was a Principal and original team member at Greentech Capital Advisors. In this role, Amy was responsible for business development and deal execution across several renewable industries, including the formation of a $1.25 billion partnership between GreatPoint Energy and China Wanxiang Holdings, the $154 million purchase of agricultural holdings and related water and solar development rights by Renewable Resources Group, the investment and option to buy 100% of Novatec Solar by ABB, the sale of Unirac to Hilti, the sale of Ausra to Areva, and the equity raise of Clean Line Energy Partners.

Previously, Amy was an investment banker at Citi, where she covered financial technology, telecommunications and asset management clients. During this time, Amy completed over $30 billion of transactions and several landmark deals in her coverage sectors. Her selected transactions include the $14 billion acquisition of Barclays Global Investors by BlackRock, the largest asset management transaction to date, and the $11 billion leveraged buyout (LBO) of SunGard Data Systems, which was the second largest LBO, the largest technology LBO, and the highest levered LBO completed at the time of announcement.

Amy graduated with honors from Harvard University with a degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy and a citation in Spanish.

Amy is an avid supporter of educational programs, medical research, and animal rights. Amy currently serves on the New York regional board of Reading Partners, a non-profit that enhances literacy through in-school programs, and has been a tutor and mentor for at-risk students for over a decade. Amy is an active donor for several causes including cancer research, Alzheimer’s research, and animal rescue organizations, and has served as a foster parent for rescue canines prior to adopting her own.
